Day 1 Route
For the first leg of our tour from Philly to New York, we'll be tagging along with the annunal Bike Club of Philadelphia New Hope to New York trip. Peter made a few calls and the BCP agreed to support us for our first day without officially registering since that would include a return bus trip from New York Ciy. The route is supposedly pretty flat, so we're all planning to ride fixed the whole way to NYC. Thanks to Kevin's generous friend Heather, we have an apartment to stay at in Queens tomorrow night (last minute save!).

i love you guys.
My only regret about the 130+ miles we shared is that I did not give you a proper farewell/goodbye. You cats were more than mildly entertaining and I truly enjoyed sharing the road with you...well, not so much with Kevin, because of his OTB status most of time, but I understand his first "real" girlfriend worked at that ice cream shoppe we stopped at around mile 112. I am certain our paths will cross again: searching for a good cup of coffee in NL; crossing the river to find a new bike mechanic; or running away with Matt (40 lbs.less) to play tamborine in his dreamy band. Carry on with your adventurous good-natured souls.
